Support to selected partner countries in developing their Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDCs)
The project supported decision-makers in selected partner countries in developing their Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDCs), which represent a milestone in the preparation of contributions to the new comprehensive climate agreement in 2015. The project supported the INDC development process, for example, by preparing country-specific needs analyses and studies on selected topics and by providing expert advice to inter-ministerial working groups. It also provided a forum for the participating countries to exchange ideas on the specific design of INDCs. The project prepared methodical concepts and knowledge products, networked with other initiatives in this area, and fostered peer to peer exchange on individual topics.
