Cover Ecosystem Soil

Healthy soils, and the ecosystem services they provide, are critical for both human wellbeing and nature. They are habitats for plants and animals, regulators of the water cycle, and foundation of terrestrial ecosystems and the vast majority of our food production. This guidebook demonstrates the importance of sustainable soil management for adaptation to climate change, biodiversity conservation and food security, and highlights the benefits of ecosystem-based adaptation (EbA) in this regard.
