Communities helping bring back the health of the land in Loitokitok

Community associations, like Entarara Community Forest Association, and Government agencies like the Kenya Forest Service, are working closely with WWF Kenya under the AREECA project to restore degraded forests and rangelands through the Forest Landscape Restoration Initiative. In Loitokitok, this forest landscape restoration project targets restoration of 5,000 hectares with direct impact on thousands more.
