Cool Up’s demonstration projects show that climate-friendly cooling works in real-world, hot-climate conditions. In Jordan, the first CO₂ cold rooms at the Jordanian Customs Department in Amman demonstrate efficient, low-emission refrigeration for food safety. In Aqaba, a propane-based air-conditioning system at the Marine Reserve Visitor Centre replaces outdated technology, delivering reliable, low-carbon cooling even at extreme temperatures.
