Farmer's Dilemma: When will the monsoon come?
The film provides valuable knowledge about the forecast of monsoon onset and withdrawal provided by Elena Surovyatkina, senior scientist at Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, for farmers 40 days in advance. It enables farmers to plan their crop planting and harvesting schedules accordingly. Thus, farmers can minimize their losses and maximize profits in favourable weather conditions.
