Nesting aids can play an important role in raising awareness about insect biodiversity and ecosystem health. They provide exemplary habitats for insect species that are essential for pollination and pest control, complementing habitat-creation measures in agricultural landscapes.

Through sustainable practices, capacity building, and collaboration with indigenous communities and local authorities, Oxapampa contributes to both conservation and food security.
