The NERAQ-IKI project, an Indo-German initiative, focuses on protecting and sustainably managing aquatic resources in Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, and Nagaland, India. It empowers local communities through conservation efforts, livelihood interventions, and climate-resilient strategies while integrating traditional knowledge. Funded by BMUV and implemented by GIZ, the project enhances biodiversity, food security, and income for stakeholders across the region.
