Study
The study aims to better understand how different elements and characteristics of public space (e.g., footpaths, traffic, greenery) influence walking experiences (e.g., safety, comfort, enjoyment) in positive or negative ways. The study also looks into how different types of pedestrians (i.e., age, gender, ability) and walk contexts (i.e., purpose, company, familiarity with the place) might result in different experiences of the same environment, based on specific needs and concerns.
