Cover of the publication

This report highlights the need for new models for cooperation on the decarbonisation of building materials, if the world is to reach climate goals. It focuses on three pathways: i) AVOID extraction and production of raw materials by galvanising a circular economy; ii) SHIFT to regenerative material practices wherever possible, including by using ethically produced low carbon earth- and bio-based building materials; and iii) IMPROVE methods to decarbonise conventional materials.
