From 18 to 24 May, the first Pollinator Insect Week took place in the Oxapampa-Asháninka-Yánesha Biosphere Reserve, bringing together over 500 participants and more than 20 organisations. The programme included the launch of the educational kit More Pollinators, More Life, a World Bee Day parade, the opening of an interpretive trail and a fair showcasing pollinator-friendly products from 22 local businesses, highlighting the importance of pollinators and their ecosystem services.
