This report presents the findings from a literature review, interviews and focus group discussions with a wide variety of stakeholders conducted by the Bangladesh Centre for Advanced Studies (BCAS) at the ‘Ecosystem-based approaches to adaptation: strengthening the evidence and informing policy’ project site in Bangladesh, where economic incentives have been used to conserve hilsa fish.
