Reference Document on Transparency in Transport
The Reference Document on Transparency in the Transport Sector provides guidance on how to develop comprehensive and consistent national systems for monitoring transport related emissions, including monitoring or MRV of transport climate actions and transport GHG inventories. The document builds on existing knowledge and lessons learned in on-going NAMA activities and experiences in GHG emissions quantification in the transport sector in developed and developing countries. By summarising existing state of the art in one publication, the Reference Document presents decision makers in charge of building up national monitoring systems with a concise source of information.
