As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, large parts of a wide variety of economic sectors collapsed worldwide, and the associated jobs dwindled drastically (ILO 2021). At the same time, environmental pollution, species extinction, loss and degradation of ecosystems, and climate change are steadily progressing. Nature-positive recovery and the associated promotion of "green" jobs can significantly and holistically contribute to overcoming such crises.
