SCAN (SDG & Climate Action Nexus) tool: Linking Climate Action and the Sustainable Development Goals

This study introduces the SDG Climate Action Nexus tool ('SCAN-tool') which aims to be user-friendly and practical and it is meant to support policy makers across different departments and state levels, to achieve greater policy coherence, to enable the achievability of multiple goals and to improve the efficiency of implementation by providing them with an initial indication of which climate actions may impact - positively or negatively - specific SDG targets
