Industrial activities account for roughly one-fifth of global GHG emissions, making them a key for global decarbonization efforts. To support efforts for robust industrial-sector inventories, the Partnership on Transparency in the Paris Agreement has published a new guide: “Harnessing Transparency for Industry Decarbonisation”. It supports national GHG inventory compilers in producing high-quality inventories of emissions from industrial activities.
