Strengthening Decision-Making for Risk-Informed Development
The publication shows how risk-informed development (RID) is an interdisciplinary, strategic, and flexible guiding principle for decision-making towards more resilient and sustainable development progress, addressing the systemic and interconnected nature of risks. RID recognizes that risks are influenced by our activities and choices. In the context of the climate crisis, the tool of climate-sensitive macroeconomic modelling and ensuing adaptation measures can contribute to fostering resilience and RID.
