This year's Transport and Climate Change Week (TCCW) will take place from 21 to 25 June - in Berlin and around the world.

 

IKI has been supporting TCCW since 2017 and offers a networking meeting and Q&A session in addition to the official programme for IKI implementing organisations.

IKI engagement for the restoration of ecosystems

The new UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration officially started on 5 June during World Environment Day 2021. IKI has supported this goal since its foundation in 2008. An overview of the current and future commitment of IKI and the most important projects.

IKI Medium Grants 2021: Ideas competition ended!

IKI would like to thank 117 organisations for the more than 183 project outlines submitted. Ideas were called for on the topics of resilience of local populations in the wake of the COVID 19 pandemic and adaptation to the consequences of climate change, as well as strengthening participatory processes for ambitious climate protection.

Thematic selection procedure 2020

The deadline for submitting project outlines has expired and we received 247 project ideas. Many thanks to all the organisations that submitted project outlines! The first phase of the selection procedure is designed as a competition for entrants worldwide, with ideas about projects for climate action and biodiversity conservation in developing and emerging countries.

IKI Small Grants: 2nd Call ended

Thank you very much for more than 500 project ideas! All project outlines received in full by the deadline will now be evaluated. Applicants will be informed by email about the further procedure after an internal review based on established criteria.

Working together towards a sustainable recovery

The COVID 19 pandemic confronts all the countries of the world with major challenges. The BMU has developed a "Corona Response Package" as part of the IKI. The package supports the partner countries of the IKI in addressing these challenges.
