The IKI makes an impact!
Climate change and the loss of biodiversity are two global mega-crises that are closely interlinked. Through the International Climate Initiative (IKI), Germany supports climate action and biodiversity conservation in the Global South. Our approach is to support projects where they are most effective – in areas where there is significant potential for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, adapting to climate change and conserving biodiversity.
