From Pilots to Policy: Regional Pathways towards Smart Grids, Demand Flexibility & Sector Coupling
This COP31 side event, co-organised by IKI MENALINKS, explores how practical experience, pilot projects and technological innovation can support the wider deployment of smart grids, demand-side flexibility and sector coupling. Drawing on insights from the MENALINKS programme and experiences from Morocco and the wider MENA region, the discussion will connect practical solutions with policy and institutional development and identify lessons for renewable energy integration and regional cooperation. The event will take place on Tuesday, 10 November, from 14:30 to 15:30 TRT at the Morocco Pavilion in the Blue Zone.
