Reflorestando Mentes: REPLÂNTICA no Amanhã

We are pleased to invite you to celebrate the achievements of the REPLÂNTICA Project, a Brazilian-German initiative for the ecological restoration of the Atlantic Forest, implemented through a partnership between the Guapiaçu Ecological Reserve (REGUA) and Technische Hochschule Köln (TH Köln), with the participation of the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ) and local communities in the Guapiaçu River basin.

The event will take place on 26 October 2026, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. (Brasília Time, UTC−3) at Museu do Amanhã in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It will bring together representatives from civil society organisations, government, academia and the private sector to:

• Share experiences and good practices
• Strengthen strategic partnerships
• Engage people in ecological restoration
• Celebrate restoration through cultural activities

The programme will feature presentations of the project's key achievements, a roundtable discussion with invited guests, and a cultural celebration recognising the people and partnerships driving Atlantic Forest restoration forward.

We look forward to bringing together partners, researchers and local communities to celebrate our collective achievements and inspire the next steps towards a more sustainable future.
