Project Launch: Transforming Agricultural Supply Chains to Deforestation- and Conversion-free in Latin America
2 hours hybrid event. Political and implementing partners will gather in each country and connect virtually with Brazil office and Germany. Online participation in Teams and broadcasted in YouTube in three languages (Spanish, Portuguese and English).
This event is the official launch of the project with the objectives of:
- To introduce the project’s goals, approach and add value to strategic partners
- To foster early engagement and collaboration with policymakers, private sector, civil society and donors and receive initial feedback
- To position the initiative within global and regional debates on deforestation-free value chains
- To share the vision and expectations of different countries and sectors on promoting deforestation-free supply chains
