Brazil's National Strategy for a Plastic-Free Ocean
On 16 November 2025 (17:00–19:00) at the Ocean House (Casa do Oceano), outside the official COP30 venue, join the Brazilian Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MMA), GIZ/TerraMar, and Voice of the Ocean for the launch and discussion of Brazil’s National Strategy for a Plastic-Free Ocean (ENOP), approved in October 2025. The event will explore the connections between marine plastic pollution and climate change, outlining how the ENOP—developed with support from the IKI TerraMar Project—advances national and global efforts to protect marine biodiversity, promote circular economy solutions, and achieve a plastic-free, sustainable ocean future.
